Additionally, Nº.6 Bond maintenance leave-in can be used as a protective tool before swimming in salt or pool water, as well as before exercise. I’M ALREADY USING Nº.2B1/2B2 EVERY 3-4 MONTHS AS A TREATMENT. WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

The Nº.2B1 or 2B2 Hair Botox treatments are not just a mask or conditioners. They work inside the hair structure to repair, rejuvenate, and hydrate damaged hair bonds. The Nº.7 Bond Intense Moisturizing Mask is a deep conditioning mask that can be used on a weekly basis to repair and hydrate hair. CAN YOU LEAVE IT IN LONGER THAN 10 MINUTES?

Yes, you can leave Nº.7 in longer than the recommended amount of time. Nº.7 mask protects hair while adding intense moisture, shine, smoothness, and body, so leaving it longer will definitely be beneficial to the hair and scalp. You cannot overuse Nº.7

WHY ARE ALL NATURAGANIC® PRODUCTS SLS-FREE, AND WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF IT?

SLS-free shampoo does not contain the harsh and irritating ingredient SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate), which is a foaming agent (detergent) used by many hair care brands. SLS-Free is not the same as Sulfate-Free. SLS can cause severe skin irritation, and there's a higher rate of contact allergy to it. Due to its oil- and skin-stripping properties, it may clog pores and cause acne for people with sensitive or acne-prone skin. SLS (sodium lauryl sulphate) is a harsh detergent that can cause irritation and strip the hair of its natural oils, leading to frizz and dullness.

Yes. For best results, we generally recommend that you color/highlight your hair anytime before any of the treatments, but if you have to color/highlight, wait 10 days to 2 weeks after treatments.

WHAT WOULD SHORTEN THE LIFE OF THE TREATMENTS?

IS Nº. 2B1, Nº. 2B2 NATURAGANIC® HAIR BOTOX SAME AS Nº. 3K1, and Nº. 3K2 BRAZILIAN KERATIN TREATMENT?

Hair Botox treatments and Brazilian Keratin treatments are not the same, but they do have some similarities. 3K1, and 3K2 Brazilian Keratin Treatment, remove the frizz, make the hair silky shiny, and they reduce waves and curls, and make the hair much more manageable, which is great. Hair Botox already does all of that. Hair Botox is like a 2-in-1 service that has all the benefits of Nº. 3K1 and Nº. 3K2 and more. However, hair Botox 2B1 and 2B2 have HRCS (Hair Rejuvenation Complex System), which is a precise concentration of active ingredients such as collagen, vitamin B3, B5, B7 Biotin, vitamin E, amino acids, stem cells, aloe vera, argan oil, caviar, monoi oil, and keratin proteins. HOW OFTEN SHOULD I DO MY TREATMENT?

It's important to remember that hair typically grows about one inch per month away from the scalp, and new growth won't have the same treatment as pre-existing hair. This means that it's normal to see waves, curls, and frizz on new-growth hair. Depending on your hair texture, lifestyle, and growth speed, it's recommended that you get regular treatments and not wait until it completely fades out. Treatments aren't permanent, so for some clients, it may be necessary every two months, while for others, it could be every four months. On average, every three and a half months is a good time to redo the treatment from the roots to the ends of the hair. There are no retouching services available, so it's best to ask your stylist for more information and recommendations based on your hair texture, time of year, lifestyle, and the level of treatment performed.

DOES NATURAGANIC® OFFER TREATMENTS WITH AND WITHOUT FORMALDEHYDE?

Yes. NATURAGANIC® provides Formaldehyde FREE Keratin 3K1 and Hair Botox treatment 2B1 for clients who prioritize their health or are pregnant. Additionally, NATURAGANIC® offers a Keratin Treatment 3K2 with a very low Formaldehyde concentration of 2.9% and a Hair Botox Treatment 2B2 with 3.9% Formaldehyde. Disulfide bonds can be found in all three main components of hair:

• • Cuticle
• • Cortex

• Medulla (if the hair has one)

Hair is made up of proteins called Keratin, which form long chains called polypeptide bonds. These chains are kept in line by hydrogen, salt, and disulfide bonds, creating an internal structure that looks like twisted ladders. These ladders combine to form microfibrils, which in turn combine to form macrofibrils that are contained in the cortex. These macrofibrils are held in place by disulfide bonds and a microcellular cement that also contains many disulfide bonds. This gives hair the ability to resist bending and twisting. All hair contains millions of disulfide bonds which give the hair its structure, strength, and stability. When all the bonds, especially the disulfide bonds, are intact and in alignment, you have healthy, beautiful, shiny, touchable hair. When disulfide bonds are broken, it results in damage.

The chemicals or thermal tools used interact with the disulfide bonds, breaking them and leading to protein loss, which damages the hair. This damage affects the disulfide bonds throughout the entire hair fiber.

Healthy and properly paired disulfide bonds are essential for maintaining the integrity of all hair types, including natural, curly, fine, and straight hair. However, these bonds can be broken due to several factors, such as thermal, chemical, mechanical, or environmental damage. As a result, single sulfur hydrogen bonds form, leading to hair damage.
After a disulfide bond breaks, there are two possible reactions that may occur. The first reaction involves the pairing of the sulfur hydrogen component with a single oxygen molecule, resulting in a perfect pairing with no further damage.
